The Nobles of the Iron Horse Unit ride to raise awareness for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. We strive to be the best we can be by riding in parades, and by supporting other community rides/events.
We not only take pride in what we do, but how and why we do it: we never forget the children in the Shriners Hospitals for Children. These Hospitals offer the most up to date treatment for children who have crippling diseases or who have been burned. All of this care is offered at no charge and is to afford each child in our care the ability to gain the best quality of life that can be expected in their circumstances.
Shriners are famous for knowing how to have a good time, and we do our best to maintain that reputation. We have a good time whenever we get together; whether it's the Unit monthly business meeting, community rides/events, or at the many social events with our "significant others."
The Iron Horse Unit is always looking for new riders. To become a member of the Iron Horse Unit you need a passion for riding. Riders are also members of the North American Shrine supporting the Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Ancient Free & Accepted Masons. You do not need to be a current motorcycle owner or a member in these organizations to become involved. To learn more about being a Freemason and a Shriner visit www.beashrinernow.com.
You do not need to be a member of the Masons or Shrine to initiate this process. We will contact you immediately after receiving your application, and the recommendations from our members required to process your application will be supplied. Please advise us if you have had any contact with a member of our Unit. Thank you for your interest.
